Department Of Ability
When Emily (my daughter) took receipt of her first wheelchair, she looked across all the media she loved for someone, something she could relate too.
"I didn't see disabled people on the telly or in books, because I didn't think they were allowed.." Emily's words to Ricky from BBCs Newsround.
Thus began the concept of the Department of Ability. A comic book based on five disabled superheroes who are:
"Born to be different, Born to save the World!"
