Podcasts with Variety the Children's Charity Launch

The parents and families of a disabled child crave information that is accessible, practical and useful but are often time-poor. This podcast series that they can download and listen to any time will, we hope, go some of the way to meeting their need to stay informed, along with helping them to feel more connected to a community that cares and is on their side.

Each episode runs for 45mins and is the first of its kind for parent-carers.

Victoria Derbyshire "Young Carers" project

I have been working with the production team at the Victoria Derbyshire show (BBC2) to produce and air a special programme on Young Carers. The need to tell their stories is obvious. 800,000 young carers from 5 upwards care for a sick or disabled family member with little or no support. Their lives need to be seen, they need to be heard and supported.

The finished show aired on Monday 17th February: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m000fjq2/victoria-derbyshire-17022020
